Under the KILT

People always ask what’s Under the KILT?" - well… my shoes and socks, silly! But Under the KILT of Experience - I have spent three decades in the entertainment industry, performing for crowds of 20,000 at a Chicago Bulls halftime show, gracing the stages of renowned venues like the Joffrey Ballet and the original Grand Ole Opry, not to mention the esteemed San Francisco Symphony. I can be posh when needed!

From cruise ships to corporate galas, or playing the bagpipes in the Tournament of Roses Parade, I’ve captivated audiences across the globe. And since donning the FUNraising KILT - I’ve helped raise millions of dollars for charities!

Would you Believe: I actually spent four years working as a Chicago Police Officer - you read that right! That is where I learned to play the bagpipes! I also spent 17 years as a volunteer SCUBA diver at the John G. Shedd Aquarium.

And sometimes I even wear pants!

Fun Fact: I live the credo of giving - my incredible wife Emily and I run Rancho Roben Rescues, a farm animal sanctuary where we are the forever home to more than 200 animals - from chickens and ducks to alpacas and pigs - we devote our lives to making the world that much better.
